1. The USPS is making the following temporary rate modifications on October 18th, 2020.

    • Temporary Rate Change October 18 to December 27, 2020. 
    • Increase for Commercial Parcels. Affected Rates include: Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, First-Class Package Service, Parcel Select, and Parcel Return Service.
    • Retail customers are unaffected.
    • International rates are unaffected.
    • July 1, ZIP/Zone change spans 845 to 847.(permanent Change will remain after December 27).
    • IJ/WJ-Series will not be supported by this or any future rate event.

  2. The USPS is making the following rate and structure modifications on January 26th, 2020.

    On Sunday, January 26, 2020, the United States Postal Service® will change postage rates.
    • All rates are increasing except for USPS First Class letter and postcard rates.
    • The metered mail and stamped mail rates remain the same.
    • Effective with this rate change, coverage of the SE/ST/WJS scales is no longer available.

  3. The USPS is making the following rate and structure modifications on June 23rd, 2019.

    Dimensional Weighing
    In 2019 USPS is adopting DIM weight (Dimensional Weighing) pricing. Dimensional weight involves factoring the box size into pricing. If the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, the shipping rate is based on the dimensional weight instead. Essentially, the bigger the box, the higher the cost.
    • Dimensional weighing for Priority Mail.
    • Dimensional weighing for Priority Mail Express.
    • Dimensional weighing for Parcel Select.
